Support Specialist
Position Overview:
Effectively carries out instructions to satisfy one-to-one client program plans and/or supervises work production as outlined by their supervisor. The Support Specialist may provide transportation to clients to and from home and work locations, and is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the background, special needs, and safety precautions for the clients assigned to them. Experience with autism clients a plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent and two years related work experience or Support Specialist Training Certificate. Experience working with people who have developmental and mental disabilities and strong interpersonal communication skills. Must hold a valid MN Driver's License, have reliable transportation and be able to acquire a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within three months of hire date.
