Letter from the CEO

Please Note: This letter appeared in MRCI's 2010 Annual Report, which was published in June 2011.

Dear MRCI Partner,

In 2010, MRCI experienced a season of change. We said goodbye to a leader who brought us far in so many ways and left a legacy of service and compassion for those individuals we serve. Thank you, Pam Year, for your time in the history of MRCI. With new leadership comes change, but also the continuity of a mission that blends new ideas and approaches. MRCI’s roots run deep, with a commitment to the ideals and core values that has always served our clients well. This will not change.

This past year, we promised to rededicate ourselves to our mission to care for and elevate the lives of those individuals who seek our assistance. We feel confident we have upheld this promise and have worked hard to be the best that we can be to those who place their trust in us each day. Based on our record of service, we continue to grow in numbers because we are chosen by those seeking a place in the community. No matter the method, the goal of providing each person a full and rewarding employment experience remains.

The theme for this annual report is relationships. You will see the faces and read the stories of how we achieve our mission. You will see how lives are touched by all of you. As we strive for success for our clients, we know we cannot do it alone. We need and count on a community of relationships to complete the complex task of meeting the goals of those we serve. In so many ways, we are in the business of building relationships that go beyond our walls. It is these relationships that sustain us through the good times and the difficult. To all of you who have chosen to play a part in the lives of our clients, we thank you for your care and support.

We enter a new year with enthusiasm and a heightened sense of anticipation of good things to come. It is truly an honor and a privilege to do what we do.
